Monoid – a font for coding

Monoid - a font for coding

Todays free font Friday is all about coding. The font – Monoid – was designed to be used while coding. Designed by Andreas Larsen, Monoid is easy on the eyes while staring down lines of code, the glyphs are easily distinguishable making scanning for errors easy and it is compact allowing more characters to fit on a line, meaning less lines overall. Monoid is open source, which I love, and enticing further developments. the community page is here, and Larsen wrote about his design approach on medium here.

Monoid is a new programming typeface designed to be clean, uniform, and precise, just like good code.
